I had NO idea what I was getting into when I started this anime. All I knew about it was that it had ecchi in it. While yes i got ecchi.... LOTS OF ECCHI. I also received.... odd fetishes, a very strange plot about shocking depressed people to make them "happy" again. A hentai show within this anime with very odd scenes... one male with a baseball bat.... boobs... lots and lots of boobs... naked ones... panties galore.... and peeing.... wait what?

Yup this show had lots of peeing in it.... I have about 10 more pictures... and could have taken more

This anime will leave you going WTF a lot and perhaps laughing. I know I did. A lot. It's one of those shows that are so bad it's funny. The idea behind this anime is interesting and if it wasn't ecchi filled it might have been excellent. Maybe lol

I suggest watching this if you LOVE ecchi and craziness. Also if you don't want to use your brain for 4 hours!

Don't get this rating wrong from me. It was "enjoyable" but honestly I really have to rate it for what it is.  This is what happens when someone is given power over something that they probably shouldn't be in charge of.

Kanamemo

I picked this up not expecting anything special. Slice of life has never really caught my attention for new shows but I'm happy to say this one was worth the watch. It started off pretty slow and meh like but quickly started to make me giggle joke after joke after gag. There was one episode in particular that I loved.... and this is weird cause I generally dislike singing in anime... yup it was a musical episode. There was nothing special about it but every song sung was hilarious to watch and hear. Pretty hilarious.... LOL The characters were all wild and wacky always helpful to each other with some added shoujo-ai on the side which proved to be quite interesting and funny. I suggest checking this out if you need to laugh.

Shinigami no Ballad

Overall: 3/10

Everything else doesn't need a rating as nothing stood out at all. All very forgettable.

I normally like episodic anime but this one was severely lacking but then again there's only so much you can do with 6 episodes. This anime did nothing with those 6.

There's something to be said while I watched this that I was more entertained with my candle on the table than actually paying a lot of attention to what was going on on the tv screen. None of the stories tugged at my heart strings. Most characters seemed empty and just too typical for me. That last story was REALLY REALLY irritating and annoying. The one that was the least irritating would have been the grandpa one. It was cute but still very lacking to me. I'm sad that I didn't even like the flying cat....

Yeah this is probably pretty harsh but this one really did nothing for me at all.

I guess if you have a thing for shinigami anime you should check this one out. It's short and semi painless... depending. Better yet go watch Shigofumi... at least those stories are "slightly" more interesting

Divergence Eve

Overall: 7/10
Plot: 7
Characters: 4
Music: 10
Design: 4

Boobs.... excuse me boobies.... wait.... breasts.... LARGE BREASTS! Okay now that that is out of my system I'll get on with it. Although it was funny to have my bf walk in and say hey "hello" with eyes popping out every now and then to the bounciness. Hell I probably would have had the same reaction.

There was a lot of spacey/sci-fi jargon to this one. So if you aren't up to date on either of the "languages" you'll be lost cause most of the time you'd have to put the pieces together on your own. Luckily I am somewhat so I enjoyed the watch.

None of the characters really stood out for me. I liked Luxandra. Spoiler whenever I like a character they die though :| I had some kind of connection with her. I guess it was the fear of needles part and her sheer toughness. Everyone else was your typical anime character and not really worth mentioning.

The music/sound was amazing. I was expecting to be let down by this because I normally am but... wow.... The only complaint about music would be the ending songs to both seasons. They were pretty boring and annoying. Season 2's opening was a little annoying but catchy at the same time. While Season 1's was amazing and I listened/watched it each episode. (which is very rare for me to do) Sometimes while watching I would find myself getting lost in the music instead of listening to the characters talk. Which wasn't bad at times cause well... the talk was pretty boring to begin with if the background music was distracting.

Nothing much to say about the art. I found it to be very boring. The random CG parts especially because they looked like crap to me. The Ghouls were kinda cool but not really. If anything I liked the Mecha's because they actually looked like robots and not some kind of super random flying man like machine. I hope you know what I mean by that.

I enjoyed the 2nd season way more than the first. I like time travel so that had a lot to do with it. I could have easily watched the second only. As the first really only had character introductions in it which I could have done without cause it was just filler to me.

When I first started watching it it gave me a Babylon 5 feel to it. I don't know if it was the animation or what. But throughout the series I kept having that feeling. Which was nice because it's been a while since I've seen anything anime or regular TV that even remotely resembles B5 let alone make me think of it.

Maybe it's only me but in the 2nd season Misaki was frequently (and in the end credits) wearing a yellow dress. Which always screamed Asuka from EVA to me. It had a very high feel to EVA while watching, although it wasn't as hard to figure out as EVA was.

I'd recommend this show to anyone that likes Sci-Fi and doesn't mind getting distracted by boobies.

Asatte no Houkou

Overall: 4/10
Story: 3
Art: 5
Music: 5
Characters: 4

Nothing was special about this one. I liked the idea of child turned into adult and vise versa but that's about it. Oh the ending was nice. Which is hard to believe cause I've seen a lot of pretty bad-mediocre anime. It was a nice little surprise and that's where half the points come from.

Art and music were nothing special. They weren't bad they weren't great. Definitely not worth mentioning really. They were pretty much the same as every other slice-of-life/drama anime out there.

Karada >.< yeah she's a child and it sure does show....even if she's an "adult".... die die die! >.< I really hate annoying main characters.

Hiro needs a good kick in the ass. He knows what to do but never does it till he's forced to. So lame. So typical really. He was always on the brink of being really cool but always seemed to mess it up.

Shōko is where the rest of the points come from. She was well done and not annoying. She was the only one of them to actually have "balls" I thought she was going to be an annoying character before I started watching it but I'm glad she proved me wrong and was the best thing about this anime. I'm glad she was there to drag a little bit of the annoying out of the other characters and make them seem a little stronger.

I say don't bother watching this unless you've watched everything else and have time to kill.... I suppose if you like drama it takes a cute interesting route to entertain the view from something slightly out of the norm.
