eden of the east is love hate. I’m waiting for the movies to make a real final judgment. but the series was a hoot and was highly enjoyed by me. JOHNNYYYYY

Awesome, finally someone not rating Eden of the East as a pretentious piece of crap after they didn’t like one of the plottwists >_> Luved that show.

Shangri-la is awesome! rideback was goodish but underwhelming in the end unfortunately.

see that’s the thing with the new fma with me. i really loved the first so i’m clouded by it even though i’m trying not to be. i still find brotherhood very very awesome indeed though and it’s totally in my top 10 over all for 2009

Nyan Koi is worth finishing imo but for sure pick up Paradiso! It’s SO GOOD.

Wow, someone actually liked Shangri-la? I remember starting it and RideBack thinking “these might be good” and then getting annoyed with both of them fairly quickly. Thanks for reminding me about Paradiso, I’ve wanted to watch it but kept getting distracted by fools pestering me to finish Nyan Koi and SeiZon or keep watching the increasingly insipid Kimi ni Todoke.

As someone who hasn’t watched the original Fullmetal Alchemist beyond the first 8 or so episodes, I am finding Brotherhood pretty damn good, and easily top 10 of 2009, possibly top 5. Dragonball Kai.. I don’t know. I’m finding it tough to appreciate now that anime’s had so many better shots. You might want to let the nostaglia continue coloring your impressions. Mazinger was all in good fun, especially if you’ve seen the precursors or Gurren Lagann.
