From the anime Inuyasha, Sango is a ninja like demon slayer from a village where everyone becomes a demon slayer when ready. Her main enemy is Naraku because he destroyed her village and took the lives of all her family. He uses her little brother Kohaku to manipulate Sango even more. She vows to save her brother anyway possible. Her main weapon is Hiraikotsu, a giant boomerang made of purified demon bones.

Why I like her: She's strong willed and never gives up. She is always there for her companions even through the toughest of times. She has a demon cat named Kirara who is super awesome and generally helps them out with long traveling because it can fly.

Why I hate her: She should have bitch slapped Miroku around a whole lot more from the beginning. It would have saved her a lot of heartache.

Overall: Out of the entire cast of Inuyasha I think she is by far the least annoying. In fact, she isn't annoying at all. Her story is a huge part of Inuyasha's story in general and it definitely wouldn't be the same if she wasn't in it.
