First Impressions of Winter Anime Batch 1
These are shows that I just can't seem to write one big post about that I've seen so far so I thought I'd just write a little something about each and lump them all together.
Sora no Woto
Everyone keeps screaming K-On about this one... Sure the characters look the same but honestly that's about where the similarities end. Maybe everyone is just looking for more K-On right now since they can't wait for the season 2 to come out. But I think this anime has potential to be way more interesting and possibly a little dark even. The story about the beast was pretty interesting and the water festival was great fun to watch. The animation is pretty good and I'm still on the fence about the music. I did like that French song they had in there though.
Dance In The Vampire Bund
The first episode was really dry and boring. There was some interesting enough action at the end but it doesn't make me want to watch more of this show. But since I haven't gotten a good idea of what this show is really about yet I'm going to give it a few more episodes to figure out if I like it or not. I'm thinking that a lot of people that were looking forward to this show will be disappointed.
Omamori Himari
What can I say... I suppose it's cool to have allergies to cats lately or something. With the past awesome Nyan Koi now comes this, with an extra serving of fanservice included. We follow the story about a boy who attracts weird creatures that "want to eat his liver" because the charm that his grandmother gave him is suddenly loosing strength and can't make him go undetected from them anymore. Luckily this black haired cat girl comes out of no where and vows to protect him. lol ok I'll bite and give this a whirl. (damn cat...girl anime) XD
The Legend of Koizumi
It's like Hetalia but with mahjong! Important figures are in this in a hilarious way. It isn't super good yet but it has a lot of potential. If you liked this and haven't seen Hetalia: Axis Powers go watch it now.

Bund was a bit of a surprise to me tbh… I didn’t particularly liked the manga a lot (only read it up to vol. 2 or smthing), but the only thing the anime and manga have in common so far is the concept, it’s doing the intro story entirely different, and not in a very good way >_> Atleast the manga had lots of kewl action in the beginning and an actually interesting introduction.

It seems that the general opinion of Dance of the Vampire Bund is that it fell short. I think, like you, I will stay with a few more episodes before making up my mind. I had really looked forward to this afterall.

I actually wish I waited till episode 2 was out. I might have had a better first impression that way. I keep telling people who haven’t seen it yet to wait for ep 2 and watch them together before making up their mind.
