It was like the proud master and her student, hehe. You might like Akiba and Takako from Kannagi if you're looking for more otaku in anime. I loved how he was in denial about being a huge nerd and Takako was constantly trying to get him to admit to it, despite being quite the fujoshi herself. Or the entire cast of Genshiken, really. Konata’s systematic transformation of the American exchange student into an otaku was a sight to behold. It was like the proud master and her student, hehe.
