365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 111/365 Haruko

Day 111/365

Haruko

From the anime Roujin Z, Haruko is a nursing student who was in charge of taking care of Mr. Takazawa until he was taken to be a test subject for a new kind of care. This new care involves a robot that could be attached to the elderly and help them with anything they need.

Why I like her: She unlike most people that take care of old sick people actually enjoys her job. She doesn't want to see any harm come to Mr. Takazawa and goes to great lengths to help him out of this mess.

Why I hate her: No hate here.

Overall: Haruko is a cute girl going up against huge odds that could turn out for the better or for worse. Check out this short old gem.

Ahhh Roujin Z, a forgotten little film with spunk. While I don’t think it’s some amazing lost masterpiece, it’s a great way to spend an evening. It’s a decent flick, with some cool animation and touches on a subject that’s even more relevant now then was when it was made….I still think all the characters are cardboard cutouts…but I guess what do I expect with such a short running time right?

@Shinmaru I hope you’ve seen it by now hehehe

@Predederva yeah when i watched this i totally thought the theme fit more with the times right now say in the 2000’s than the 1990’s. Elderly abuse is everywhere.
