Jubei Kibagami

From the anime Ninja Scroll, Jubei Kibagami after breaking ties with his old Ninja team, he becomes a wandering swordsman for hire. Jubei comes across Kagero in his wanderings whom is on an important mission. She happens to be in a little bit of trouble and Jubei helps her out of the situation. From there on he is tossed into a web of government and clan feuds that he wants absolutely nothing to do with. If he doesn't stop the coming of this evil no one can.

Why I like him: He's calm and cool. Handy on his feet and not bad with a sword. He's very much a manly man yet has a tender side to him that cares about what happens to others around him even if he tries to make it out like he doesn't care.

Why I hate him: Scroll over for ***SPOILER*** He didn't have sex with Kagero to cure the poison and gave her a kiss instead. XD

Overall: Ninja Scroll is my second favourite movie of all the anime movies I've seen. It's probably for nostalgia reasons because it was one of the first anime movies I watched, but it's still really really good. It's a classic that everyone should see even if they don't like epic tales of ninja's. Here's a mellow and fun AMV that fits Jubei very well. There may be spoilers so watch at your own risk.

Gamlin Kizaki

From the anime Macross 7, Gamlin Kizaki is a highly skilled pilot that was assigned to the elite squadron, Diamond Force. He takes his role very seriously and wished to protect everyone in City 7, especially miss Mylene whom he develops a interesting relationship with.

Why I like him: I love his way of thinking. He knows how to handle really tough situations that most would melt under. He also doesn't like Basara just as much as me. XD I like his dual personality, military tough guy to a shy civilian young man.

Why I hate him: While Mylene is cute... He could do better. Scroll over for ***SPOILER*** There's a good way to piss me off in anime and that's generally killing one of my favourite characters. Macross 7 decided to kill my Gamlin off but then in the next episode they randomly brought him back without explaining in a good way how he was still alive. I DO NOT APPROVE! Toying with my emotions like that is NOT cool.

Overall: Best new character that Macross 7 introduced. I wish I could eat him up.

Nodame Cantabile: Finale OP

One of my favourite parts of the series has been the OP's and ED's. And this one is my favourite of them all. I simply love the visuals and the song is too cute.

From the anime Afro-ken, Afro-ken is a dog with an afro! He has a unique ability that involves making his afro turn into something similar to whatever he meets that he's interested in.

Why I like him: He's one curious pup. He likes to run around exploring anything and everything he comes across.

Why I hate him: No way. He's a dog with an afro... A rainbow afro!

Overall: Fun and random. Afro-ken is one cute pup.

Takuya Isurugi

From the anime 801 T.T.S. Airbats, Takuya Isurugi is a new recruit for the 801st Tactical Training Squadron. His job is to repair and maintain the planes. His team consists of four female pilots, 2 of which fall for the dorky Takuya.

Why I like him: He's determined to do what he loves. Girls may get in his eye view for love but his one true love will always be planes.

Why I hate him: He's totally clueless.

Overall: For a great old campy military anime that takes on love triangles, odd comedy, and a love for aviation check it out. Only if you have some time to waste of course.
