From the anime Birdy the Mighty, Birdy Cephon Altera is a Federation police officer that chases after alien criminals. Her journey leads her to Earth where she accidentally kills a boy named Tsutomu Senkawa. She must merge her body with his so she can keep him alive till his body is fixed. This is a minor problem to Birdy so she continues doing what she loves, catching the bad guys and putting them behind bars while letting Tsutomu live a "normal" life as much as possible.
Why I like her: She's a rough, tough, badass of a girl who goes around the galaxy putting bad guys away. I enjoy her strength and problem solving skills. She never gives up no matter how tight the situation she is in may be. I really liked her interaction with poor Tsutomu.
Why I hate her: No hate here. She's way too awesome.
Overall: I was so glad when they made a 2 part tv series about this ova, Birdy the Mighty Decode. It needed finishing and they did an amazing job in adding way more information than we could have dreamed. Birdy is awesome.

I still haven’t seen this show. I was thinking about spending money on it and buying it. Don’t know if I will though. I actually thought about this show all day, despite knowing nothing about it.

@Glo you totally should buy this show. It’s very fun and has a little bit of everything to keep the viewer happy ^_^ especially is you like sci-fi settings yet in a modern world like earth where earth has no clue about the outside world.
@Epi deep down i think i liked the ova more but i was left after watching it wanting more so the tv series came as a great joy for me… heh
