Day 183/365

Chuck Keith

From the anime Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory, Chuck Keith is a test pilot stationed at the Torrington base after graduation along with his buddy Kou Uraki. After Unit 2 was stolen by Anavel Gato along with a war head, they are assigned to the Albion ship in order to track down and get that Unit 2 back.

Why I like him: He was a fun side character that always supported Kou in ways that no one else could. He's a pretty kick ass pilot too.

Why I hate him: I think he would have made a better lead that Kou. XD

Overall: Fun series with awesome side characters. Sometimes they were more interesting than the leads like Chuck was. Although I do have a soft spot for Anavel Gato. (I think I like Zeon >.>)

Buddies forever! Chuck and Kou.

  1. Yeah, I liked Keith more than Kou too. Keith wasn’t a superb pilot, but he had way more personality even as a secondary character. Not that Kou didn’t serve the narrative, but that’s about all he did. Keith was a bit panicky, but he was also really likable.

His GM Cannon II was pretty sweet too.

Gato? Really? Eh, I guess I just take my anime to seriously to sympathize with a guy who would drop a colony just to get closure.

I think i have some kind of weird relationship with Zeon to feel that way about Gato. I mean he wasn’t overly pleasant half the time but I think that’s what I liked about him the most. While I don’t agree with his actions I do see why he would be driven to do something like it. heh
