Bunta Fujiwara

From the anime Initial D, Bunta Fujiwara is the owner of a tofu shop and the father of the main character of the show Takumi. He use to be the #1 downhill racer on Mt. Akina but has since stopped racing and focuses on his sons racing career once he take interest in it. His car is the AE86 Sprinter Trueno that he passes onto Takumi.

Why I like him: He is possibly the coolest dad ever. He's so laid back and knows when to push his son. He gives some great advice a lot too.

Why I hate him: No way he's the coolest ever.

Overall: For a show about street racing this show is AOK! Music kicks ass too.

Bunta has a very laid back relationship with raising his son Takumi.

    Bunta and the gas station manager were definitely the Takumi and Itsuki of the previous generation, hehe. Bunta’s great, and he’s always there in the background to Takumi’s career, right into 4th Stage even. VERY MINOR AND VAGUE SPOILER: wait until you see his new car!
