From the anime Appleseed, Briareos Hecatonchires is a ESWAT (Extra Special Weapons And Tactics) officer. He and his partner Deunan Knute work to keep the city of Olympus safe.
Why I like him: His body is almost completely artificial. SO JEALOUS. He's got a pretty calm and cool attitude about most things that he's gone through.
Why I hate him: His relationship with Deunan kinda is strange at the best of times. They do care for each other but it's just... odd.
Overall: Remade in 2004 and had another movie made in 2007. The 1988 one still holds strong even as animation styles have changed so much for the newer ones.
