Episode 54 of Legend of Galactic Heroes I've re-watched countless times over and over again since I watched the series back in 2009. The very first meeting between Yang of the Free Planets Alliance and Reinhard of the Galactic Empire is just a super powerful moment to me in this series. One among many, but I think this makes one of my top 5 moments for sure.

I think some of the most amazing thoughts and words are spoken in this short 10 minute span between these 2 great men. Maybe it could be considered one of the most powerful talks in the whole series.

Oh, Yang! lol... If I had the skill to make a .gif I would make one of Yang blinking his eyes in amazement as he gazes upon Reinhard for the first time! Someone make this happen for me

So you might be asking at this point why this a top moment of 2010 for me if I watched the series in 2009. Simply because I can't get the series as a whole out of my head at all since then. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about it and sometimes I go as far as watching certain episodes to gain more knowledge. This certainly is one of those series that if you watch it about 5++ times you'll notice something different each time. So far I've only watched specific episodes here and there but soon I will be re-watching it as a whole with a friend. I'm excited about this very much.
Since I am nearing the 2000 title mark for total anime watched over on my Anime-Planet profile I have been waiting and waiting to watch "A Hundred Billion Stars, A Hundred Billion Lights" and "Spiral Labyrinth". I want these 2 anime to be my 1999th and 2000th anime watched titles. I figured since I made a big deal out of 1000 last year that it would be fun to make a fuss over 2000 for next year! All titles will be very memorable I'm sure!

One day soon (possibly next year... don't hold me to that...) I will be blogging this fantastic series one episode at a time. It'll be fun to re-watch it and actually write down a lot of thoughts on the series that have been floating around in my head since I watched it all that one 3 day weekend in 2009. Since it made it's way to my number one favourite anime of all time spot, I feel I *have* to talk about it in more depth. Until then, check out Emperor J's posts over on Lower Mid-Table.
