365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 245/365 Ruri Hoshino
Day 245/365
From the anime Martian Successor Nadesico, Ruri Hoshino is a 12 year old girl whom is the product of DNA engineering and nano-technology designed to create an operator who can connect directly with computers. She was brought aboard the Nadesico in order to run the computer on the ship. The goal is to fight off the dreaded Jovian Lizards and even some of their own from Earth.
Why I like her: Baka Bakka! She relates more with computers than humans. That's pretty awesome cause people can be a giant pain in the ass at times and computers just obey. I've always loved her hair. It's just so perfect.
Why I hate her: Among a cast that irritated me to no end she was no exception. Even though she has an excuse of not acting properly around humans because of her upbringing, it just got so annoying I wished to strangle her or swing her around by her hair and throw her into space...
Overall: Moe before moe.

365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 244/365 Ikumi Oze
Day 244/365
From the anime Infinite Ryvius, Ikumi Oze is a 16 year old boy who comes from a rich family but pretends that he doesn't. He is best friends with Kouji Aiba and they board the ship Ryvius together after training to become pilots on the space station Liebe Delta.
Why I like him: His past starts off as a huge mystery but as the show goes on it gets opened up greatly. He is but one of the many amazing characters in this show. He shows many sides that I admire. Including a "crazy loving" side. He does show great leadership and does anything he can to protect those that mean most to him.
Why I hate him: Not hate per-say honestly, I was saddened about his situation by the end of the series though.
Overall: Ryvius ends up stranded in space and the many children on board are left to find their own way back. I wasn't expecting much from this plot but all the characters were SO well done. Ikumi shines above them all for me because he shows many faces that lead to the uncertain.

365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 243/365 Murasaki Kuhoin
Day 243/365
From the anime Kurenai, Murasaki Kuhoin is the seven year old daughter of Souju and Renjo Kuhouin. She is being protected by Shinkuro against her family after she was taken away from them by Benika because they have a rule of keeping her in the Inner Sanctuary of their home at all times and never letting her experience the outside world.
Why I like her: She is a child of 7 but knows absolutely nothing so she acts much younger than that in the outside world. She is SO cute. Her wonder about everything is adorable. She always makes me think of THIS song.
Why I hate her: While I completely understand why she acts stubborn, spoiled, and super snobby at times it was almost too much to take.
Overall: For further reading check out Digiboy's Character Database of Love post on this lovely little lady. Picture below done by scotch.

365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 242/365 Maria
Day 242/365
From the anime Hayate the Combat Butler, Maria is Nagi's maid and surrogate older sister/mother. She is very intelligent and a tad devious at times. She takes her job seriously and can keep Nagi company while playing games.
Why I like her: She is adorable and awesome! The only one in the show with a good set of brains in her head.
Why I hate her: I don't at all. She was the best character in this show for me.
Overall: For a parody show this one shines and Maria is another wonderful piece. Picture below done by sesena yau.

365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 241/365 Yukina Sonogi
Day 241/365
From the anime Senkou no Night Raid, Yukina Sonogi is a calm, sweet, well mannered girl that comes from a noble family. Once you get to know her, she shows her temper. She is part of a group that is a special military spy organization called "Sakurai Kikan". She can telepathically communicate with her teammates and when she touches an object she can see what it has "seen".
Why I like her: Telepathic abilities. DUH! I want!
Why I hate her: She always seemed like the weak link of the group even though she kicked a lot of ass too... I dunno. It's weird.
Overall: I think this show like her, is under rated for this years new batch of anime. It was interesting all the way through and has one of the best OP's I've heard in quite sometime.

365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 240/365 Aspergillus Oryzae
Day 240/365
From the anime Moyashimon, Aspergillus Oryzae is a mold fungus used to ferment soybeans to create soy sauce and miso. It is also used in rice to make alcoholic beverages like sake. It is the main micro-organism in the show and a good friend of Sawaki Tadayasu whom is a person that can see micro-organisms.
Why I like it: Even if it kinda scares me it's completely adorable. Floating around doing micro-organism stuff. teehehe it can also make sake. I <3 sake.
Why I hate it: CREEPY! Like wow haha. It weirded me out throughout the entire series and always made me look around the room for them...
Overall: We'll brew YOU!

~A Look at Anime to Come~ Fall 2010
Wait what happened to Summer 2010 you ask? Basically I was too busy with real life stuff. We threw an event that I made a lot of decorations for in July and since then there's been plenty of travel and birthday parties to tend to. Now that fall is on it's way and things are calming down again it's time to get back to being a hermit for me and watching current airing anime. Looking at this countdown site and some charts here and there, I've put together this little look of anime to look forward to for fall.
* means I'm looking forward to it... There's not much... Lets start with some season 2's!
~SEQUELS~
*Sora no Otoshimono 2
I love this show to bits. It's loaded with fan-service and the story is pretty darn cliche but I love all the characters to no end because they make me laugh.
*Yumeiro Patissiere 2
Ichigo Amino keeps up with her dream to be a great pastry maker! The show started off pretty meh to me but grew on me a lot as episodes flew by. Now I can't wait each week to see a new one. HAPPY HAPPY MACAROON FUN FUN GO!
*Arakawa Under the Bridge 2
The wacky cast is back for more adventures under the bridge they call home.
Hakuouki: Shinsengumi Kitan 2
S1 wasn't that great but it wasn't too terrible either. I'll watch it for the sake of completion.
Letter Bee 2
I hope there's less crying...
*A Certain Magical Index 2
Unlike most, I really enjoyed Index 1 and disliked Railgun. So I'm quite pleased that this is being made and hope it's just as entertaining as its S1.
Motte To Love-Ru
I know nothing about this show as I haven't seen the first one and have no intention of getting around to it this year or ever probably. Maybe when I run out of anime. Could be sooner than later. Bottom line. This is the only anime I will not be watching.
~NEW~
*Psychic Detective Yakumo AKA Shinrei Tantei Yakumo
Well his red eye there gives him a special ability to see ghosts and spirits! Makes me think of Natsume Yuujinchou but with more mystery attached to it because he wants to help them get to the afterlife.
Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt
Idol angels sent to Earth to fight ghosts... The animation looks totally interesting so I'm game.
Bakuman
Lots of manga fans are looking forward to this one. I have a feeling it may fall flat for me. But if the characters win me over it could be amazing. Boys helping each other make a manga just doesn't seem all that interesting to me. But if it is mixed with great characters and some comedy, it'll win me over like Doujin Work did.
The World God only Knows AKA Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai
About a guy who is good at playing games and winning 2D girls hearts... Righto. This one has a lot of hype around it like Bakuman but I'm skeptical about this one not being all that great.
*Ironman
Hope it actually comes out this time
I'm a fan of the live action movies and read a few comic here and there. So it shall be interesting to see in come to life in anime form.
Invasion! Squid Girl AKA Shinryaku! Ika Musume
Moe teaches you not to pollute the oceans or squid loving girls will come for you! lol I can't even begin...
MM!
This one makes me think of B Gata H Kei but it's the males turn to be all weird and perverted. (Like "normal") Instead of making it known like the girl in B Gata H Kei he tries to hide it.
Yosuga no Sora
Harem...
Togainu no Chi
Makes me think of Bus Gamer but I think this will actually go somewhere. Probably not far but I can hope. Survival, crime, war. I hope for lots of action and blood. The, from what I can tell, all boy cast seems interesting to me as well XD
Tantei Opera Milky Holmes
I like detectives so it was only a matter of time before moe got it's hands on it.
Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto
Interesting robots I'll say that much. Kinda creepy actually. The idea sounds so generic though but there's a lot of people from a tonne of series I love working on this so who knows.
Otome Yokai Zakuro
"It’s the Meiji Era in a slightly alternate Japan" This sentence is so hilarious to me because looking at the picture above... DO YOU REALLY HAVE TO SAY "slightly alternate" XD I'm not sure who the target audience is here because of the "fox" ear girls and pretty boys in uniforms. It probably will be slow and boring but could be interesting if given a chance.
My Little Sister Can’t Be This Cute AKA Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai
Lolicon bait. Sure to be a hit with most loli fans.
Soredemo Machi wa Mawatteiru
A maid who wants to be a detective... oh why? Could have some laughs, but I'm not holding my breath.
Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Girls
Maybe not quite Queen's blade since it's about "school girls". So I'll go with perhaps it's going to be what the Real Bout High School anime should have been!
Fortune Arterial
Has a Vampire in it... Harem... Eroge Visual Novel... It has already failed for me.
Kuragehime
I don't know about this one. It feels like it's going to be this seasons Yojouhan Shinwa Taikei but instead of a male it's a female. Throw in some otaku stuff of course.
Nougyou Musume AKA Agricultural Girls
This is going to be short 3 minute episodes about some girls that love to grow things. Hope it's good cause it looks adorable.
There's a bunch of ova's coming out but who knows when most really come out and well there's a lot of them that I haven't seen their series or really want to see. I'm looking at you Hidamari Sketch. >.<
At this point I have no idea which titles I'm going to blog. Suggestions welcome ^_^ Overall I'm kinda meh with this line up. I generally never complain about such things because there's always SOMETHING to look at. When only 2 new shows out of like 20 or so that I'm really interested in are airing it's kinda a let down.

365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 239/365 Mayama Takumi
Day 239/365
From the anime Honey and Clover, Mayama Takumi starts off as a 22 year old fourth-year art student. He helps out Rika Harada with various errands at her design firm that she can not do because of a disability. He grows strong feelings for her after some time, where at school a girl named Yamada Ayumi has strong feelings for him. His love triangle begins.
Why I like him: Even though he always says in the anime that he is lame and so uncool, I think he is totally awesome and cool! He follows his heart very well and is super determined to meet his goals be it in love or his work. He's completely adorable even if I wanted to punch him at times but that's just part of his awesome charm. <3
Why I hate him: Scroll over for ***SPOILER*** HE DIDN'T CHOOSE THE GIRL I WANTED HIM TO!!! >.<
Overall: If it wasn't for Mayama and his wonderful story I probably would have hated this show to bits because the other love triangle was dreadfully boring to me. Let alone hating Hagu
I gotta watch more Josei anime because I seem to enjoy them a great deal.

365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 238/365 Yuta
Day 238/365
From the anime Mermaid's Forest, Yuta is a 500 year old immortal. He got that way by eating the flesh of a mermaid. Though he didn't find out he was immortal right away. Only when he wed and watched his wife age while he did not, did he come to realize that he was immortal. Now he travels around in search of another mermaid in hopes that it can help him become mortal once more.
Why I like him: While he may hate being immortal I would LOVE to be in his situation. His relation ship with Mana was very interesting to see play out.
Why I hate him: Not at all.
Overall: Yuta's adventures lead him into interesting situations and he comes across some strange things.

365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 237/365 Neiro
Day 237/365
From the anime Kaiba, Neiro is a mysterious girl who shares an unknown connection with Kaiba and not much else is known about her other than she grew up with a boy named Popo.
Why I like her: She was random and spunky. Love those pigtails.
Why I hate her: Too much uncertain things about her. Let alone what happens at the end of the series.
Overall: It's bizarre and will make you think a lot. I'm still unsure about my whole experience with this show honestly so I'll probably have to re-watch it at some point.
