The Black Swordsman

From the anime Comedy, The Black Swordsman is a lone swordsman who lives in the Demon's Castle ruins near the Black Forest. He'll do anything if he is given rare ancient books from the past for his services. A girl goes in search of this swordsman to protect her village.

Why I like him: He does things for interesting payment. I'd like it a bit more if it was anything rare and old but a book is fine too.

Why I hate him: Even though he helps the girl he seems to just not care if he did or not. I'm not sure how I feel about a hero like that.

Overall: Wonderful short OVA.

Just going for a lovely ride with his horsey...
