chii Finally Made One!
Favourites are a great thing. What makes these shows mine is that I think about them very often when I'm thinking about anime and wish to watch them more than once. Some of them I've already watched 5+ times. To be a favourite they also must be entertaining as a whole series. So if they have season 2's or more, I should have loved them just as much as their season one. Everything on the list below applies! I've been meaning to make this kind of list for many years now and I've finally sat down and mulled through all my anime titles and picked these 100 to be my absolute favourites.
Like digitalboy I'll be updating this list regularly from now on but not once a month. I will only update when I feel an anime has stood up to my standards to break into this 100 anime list. I will keep a list at the bottom of this page which of which anime has moved in and which it has kicked out. I doubt that it'll happen very often but time will tell. 365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 342/365 Koshiro Saeki
Day 342/365
Koshiro Saeki
From the anime Koi Kaze, Koshiro Saeki is a lonely, 27 year old single man who works for a marriage agency. He still lives with his father and hasn't seen his mother or sister since they got divorced. He meets a lovely girl named Nanoka, one day and they seemed to have at attraction going. Later that girl appears at his home because it is closer to her school. A chance encounter the day before leaves them both shocked finding out that they are siblings.
Why I like him: Even though he has romantic feelings for his sister he struggles greatly before he acted upon any of it. Even once the act had been done he struggles even further. I liked the realistic look at this forbidden romance in a modern time. I also like how he isn't one of the best looking characters ever. I love his beard stubble that he constantly has even though he clearly shaves.
Why I hate him: Just too real to hate.
Overall: This is oddly one of the best romance anime for me. Forbidden incest love is always a fun watch when done right. Nothing comes close to getting it right like Koi Kaze does.

Day 4 of The 12 Days of Christmas
Fourth for The 12 Days of Christmas: romance moments is Koi Kaze. These 12 Days of Christmas posts aren’t in any particular order. I just choose moments that actually made me feel all warm and squishy inside. Be sure to check out animemiz’s scribbling’s and Unmei Kaihen and Eternal's blogs for more 12 Days posts and there are plenty of other ones out there as well! Oh and there might be spoilers about so read at your own risk. For the most part though I think I’ve kept things as spoiler free as possible. 
Koi Kaze to me is one of the best romance series out there. Sure they are brother and sister and over 10 years apart in age... He's 27 and she's 15 to be exact. LOL

Why they are adorable: They are brother and sister who fall in love and know just how wrong it is but they take that extra step in their relationship anyway knowing no one around them approves. The feelings they grew for each other was a huge struggle for both of them leading to awkward moments and angry tempers.

Their feelings for one another were finally at their limits. Nanoka gets teased in school more and more about having a brother complex by her friends that actually had no idea she was in fact really falling for him. Koshiro gets confronted by a fellow co-worker who is disgusted by his resent behaviour regarding his sister.
The strugle of having feelings about his sister in THAT way.
Incest stories generally do a certain take on the wrongs about what these siblings are doing. That being, sure they know it's wrong but they don't care end of story they fuck anyway. Not Koi Kaze. They show the true struggle between not only the surrounding characters but the siblings themselves. It was done in such a good way you were rooting for them even though you knew it was wrong to do so.

All love stories should have complexity of this level. They would prove to be more interesting to me anyway.
