Lucy

From the anime Elfen Lied, Lucy AKA Nyuu is a Diclonius which is like a human in looks but has horns on the head. They have extraordinary mental powers as well. These Diclonius are studied by normal humans in a facility where Lucy escaped from one day. She got hit in the head with a bullet and her other personality Nyuu was born. Nyuu can't talk and is very child like. She can only say Nyuu which is why she was named that by Kohta.

Why I like her: She has these things called vectors which are shaped like hands that come out of her head (kinda) that she controls to at will. That is kinda cool. Being able to stop bullets with your mind is awesome as well... Can you tell I have a thing for mental powers yet?

Why I hate her: The Nyuu part of her was VERY annoying and she was always around. I've never been a fan of the double personality issue either. Lucy's outlook on others, while understanding because of what she had been through, was taken to ridiculous extremes.

Overall: This character is very overrated for what she is. I will never understand certain fandom behaviors for some characters. Is it cause she was naked when we first saw her???
