365 Days of Anime Characters: Day 318/365 Mint Aizawa

Day 318/365

From the anime Tokyo Mew Mew, Mint Aizawa is the second Mew Mew to show up in the series. She is a cute rich girl who is infused with the genes of an Ultramarine Lorikeet. She grows a bird tail and small wings appear on her back when she transforms into Mew Mint. Reluctantly, Mint and the other girls work as waitresses at the Cafe Mew Mew which is used as their headquarters.

Why I like her: She cares a great deal for her new friends even if she acts very cold towards them at times. I liked how she idolizes Zakuro Fujiwara because she is a very popular model. Her transformation outfir is so cute and reminds me of Subaru.

Why I hate her: The typical spoiled rich girl act is so bleh.

Overall: Total guilty pleasure anime for me from the magical girl category. Here's some fun transformation scenes!

Manga I own

I'm not huge on the manga reading unless I have it in book form. Only the past year I have actually started to read manga on-line and even then I've only read one shots as they are quick reads and I hate sitting here at the computer looking at a white screen trying to read. It takes me forever and nothing really feels right because having a book that you hold and own just feels better! All are complete unless otherwise stated.
