Chu-Bra 12 END

Haruka immediately starts freaking out after she learns that Hayama is leaving. She goes on to say they aren't friends anymore and that it's the end of the underwear club... WTF? Where did all that random anger come from? I understand learning that your best friend is leaving, at that age, is a big thing, but gees talk about blow way out of proportion. So about 15 minutes of the episode is about her being butt hurt about Hayama leaving and how Komachi, Kiyono, and especially Yako can make the girls make up before Hayama leaves for good.

Because of this boring issue we are left with 5 minutes of actual good bye time. Uhhhg. At least that's something to be thankful for right? This episode was a real shitty way to end this series. Not that the series was amazing by any means but I was expecting the last episode to have a laugh or 2 in it like the rest of the series. No laughing here. Well maybe at the end about that Underwear Club  for Men club that Komachi decided to start. XD

Anyway it's never a good sign when the viewer can't wait for the show to be over. I for one am very glad it was only 12 episodes as well. The plot of the show was "unique" in a way but not a very interesting one. (At least for a girl IMO) School clubs can be fun and all but one based around panties and bras is just a little weird for me. I probably wouldn't have been part of it if it was at my school. The subplot was a little more interesting even if you had to dig through the panties to get to it. Growing up is something that everyone has done. Some grow up fast, some slowly, and honestly some never at all. It's something that everyone can relate to and think back to exactly what it was like for them. I know this show did that a little for me, but honestly isn't nothing like the memories that Hanamaru Youchien brings back to my surface. These memories are I suppose a little more depressing in a way. Where Hanamaru Youchien is full of joy and the discovery of being a kid without having to worry about these growing up problems.

The sound and animation were nothing but average to me honestly. The animation was slightly more impressive actually but not all that much. Things were drawn with cute details but I found it to be pretty fuzzy at times. The OP and ED are very forgettable and I couldn't tell you what the music was like throughout the show.

Characters are an on and off thing in Chu-Bra. Some episodes they are interesting and engaging while in others they are stupid and annoying. None of them stood out as being original which is fine and all but it would have been nice. I can't even say any left an impression on me other than Komachi. His struggle with the club, wanting to be first in the school grade wise, and plain old boy issues with panties everywhere was entertaining to watch.

Like I said in my character of the day overall for Komachi I wouldn't suggest watching this anime unless you have watched EVERYTHING else. Even if you are a fan of the genre it probably won't live up to your standards. I struggled to keep watching and boy I was glad when it was over because the enjoyment level just wasn't there for me. If anything go into this anime with no standards and you might be ok. I like panties and all cause everyone has to wear em, but I don't really need or want a 12 year old explaining why these articles of clothing are amazing.

Ladies versus Butlers!

Loli Pina gives Akiharu a thank you ticket for two to Aqualand for helping her out with the doujin. He walks randomly to where the face off is happening and once he realizes that they are there at the fountain too he looks as dumbfounded as ever. Harem males are always so dumb...

Randomly they end up in a classroom to discuss their views. Croissant hair starts asking lots of questions about their date even though she knows most of it already. Akiharu walks in on them again but this time the tickets are in full view. Each girl clearly wants to go but the schemer starts playing her games when a random announcement by the oh so annoying one that gives the terrible speeches tells the whole school that there will be a sports meet. yay.....

As all relationships should be in anime, this one shall be decided through school sports... Different teams. One winner. Wild rumour start to go around at what the winner will get to do along with the looser. Let the games begin.

What is that fruitcake doing?

Watching these strange games is very very weird... What the hell is with the EELS?????? Eaten later by staff??? WEIRD!

Chu-Bra

For once this anime shocked me in a good way instead of a bad one. The opening with the Revolutionary Girl Utena reference was LOL. Lots of anime this season sure have been putting their own take on some older anime.

 

 

 

 

 

The schools cultural festival is happening and the girls of the pantsu club help out other clubs because they technically can't be a part of it on their own. The drama club is putting on a play and they want Hayama to make the costumes and the other girls in the club to be in the play as well. They have all kinds of interesting costumes to go with it too. The cafe needs some maid costumes and they ask Hayama as well to do it for them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Trouble unfolds as the bitch teacher finds out about Kiyono's photo shoot in the magazine and wishes to shut everything down because of it. Boob teacher pleads for her to go and look at the costumes that Hayama has made before making her judgment. Surprisingly she ends up loving the costumes and actually fends off a male teacher that suddenly appears to chew Hayama out.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After that happy ending with the show able to go on. Hayama finally tells the girls that she won't be around next year because of her brothers transfer. Kiyono knew all along and spilled it to Komachi. Komachi confronts Hayama about it and she begs him not to tell the others because she wants to let them know in her own way.

Will they really move in the next episode or not that is the question. I'm thinking something will happen so they won't have to. Or she'll be able to stay behind. I'd like it if they just moved on. Less chance of a sequel that way

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Oh and yes there was some fanservice in this episode. Hayama just NEEDED to see Kiyono matching bra and panties. I will admit I think they are cute and would wear them myself.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ladies versus Butlers! 07-10

Loli meets loli. We get yet another new character named Pina. Of course she is obsessed with anime and has a thing for a certain magical girl series which I can only assume is a poke at CCS. Pina wishes to create a doujin of her favourite anime and she has her eye set on Mimina participating because she's "perfect" for her needs...

Since it's doujin making time, of course Akiharu is going to help Pina because his good old best friend is scheming again. That is of course his roll in this anime. Getting into as many weird odd situations as possible thanks to her.

It's summer break time and what better way to spend it than at some rich girls house unwillingly. Croissant hair demands that Akiharu comes with her and uses her card to make him do it.

We finally meet her father and oh man very, odd father indeed. I flash back to the first episode where she was sad that her dad didn't even touch her boobs before Akiharu did.

Akiharu gets drunk and starts to cause some tension with his words but it's ok because he passes out and ends up not remembering a single thing. Croissant hair is very much not amused by this.

After this interesting night, they get joined by the evil childhood friend accompanied by Daichi. She of course just wishes to interfere more with them as things move along. Especially since it's beach day. Oddly her medling has turned against her and certain things do start to happen between Croissant hair and Akiharu after a nice day in the sun.

Saikyo starts to finally show her jealousy and actual feelings now because of what happened on the summer vacation between Akiharu and croissant hair.

We start off back at school listening to another one of those terrible speeches.... >.<

She asks him out on a date and of course croissant hair overhears and plans to follow them all day on their date. Unfortunately everywhere she follows them others from the school end up being around and tag along with her.

First up after their drinks is a what sounds and looks like very erotic movie. O.O I personally wouldn't really want to go see a movie like that in theaters but then again this is an ecchi anime. They move onto shopping time. Oddly this leads to uhhhg more breast massage.... Seeing 2 episodes of that particular theme in one day is too much for me. Thanks Chu-Bra and LvB.

Last we have some karaoke time followed by pictures from a booth and random arcade games. More stalking from croissant hair follows of course with more friendly interruptions.

They end the episode walking up a very long hill (Akiharu is of course carrying all of her bags from shopping) chatting about the past and the present. Croissant hair has lost them because of her DDR run.

All in all this was a cute episode. I enjoyed learning at the end more about their past together and just how much she tormented him. I dunno why he stays around her. XD Next episode we play with Daichi getting a love letter!

All the boys (all 3 of them) try to give Daichi advice on how to go about talking to this girl who wrote the love letter. If only they knew the half of it with Daichi's case.

Oh look it's the fruitcake that they hardly ever show!

We get a confession of sorts when Daichi finally goes to meet this girl. I'd say this situation was expected. After all you can't room with a boy and not develop feelings for him right?

At the very end of the episode we cut to the girls meeting at the fountain. I think a Akiharu discussion will be held as I'm sure both girls have a lot to say to each other about this situation. Interesting story progression I must say...

Chu-Bra 07-10

We start off with Komachi trying to clasp a bra from the front. Right in between the breasts... So of course he can't do it without thinking dirty thoughts. Why does HE need to worry about clasping a bra anyway without having those dirty thoughts?

The cat was always there for Komachi but where did this monkey face come from for Yako all of a sudden? Or did I miss something.

Now Komachi starts thinking like Hayama when he sees the girls underwear in some of his classmates dirty magazine... Very odd.

We start off with boob teacher having a dream about Hayama's brother oh my! When will they (if ever) finally get together? They go to an inn on the beach to have a meeting to discuss club plans of course we all know that this won't happen and they shall play away!

The kids start to make fun of boob teacher because she is wearing her school swimsuit. She claims it's the only one she has because she doesn't go swimming very often. She told them that she shall take the name tag off it to make it a "little" more mature. Unfortunately right in the middle where her huge boobs are, it ripped. So Yako clearly decides to try and cut it up more to make it "sexy"... It's very much time to go and buy a new swimsuit.

It rains suddenly so their trip to the beach is postponed by a day. Doesn't stop them from checking out the inns hot spring though. Hair... Down their... Children of this age seriously don't act like this. I hate that a lot of males that watch anime have this weird view on women. Sure it's "funny" to put in but don't go thinking this stuff always happens when women are alone.

Komachi had his brother pack his swimsuit.... man thong. Very fitting for a brotherly prank.

Time to learn about growing boobs... Bleh whatever this ep was SO boring I'm not even going to bother with it.

Bra unclasping races... That's her big idea for the school festival... Nothing like drawing perverted unwanted attention to the pantsu club.

We briefly talk about men bras for a moment. This was good for a laugh. Boob teachers fantasies with Hayama's brother are getting funnier and funnier.

We again face the issue for girls wanting bigger boobs. I still don't get why. Some girls will try anything... Why exactly did she try to use a vacuum???

uh oh big brother is being transfered.

2 more episodes to go. Hurry up and be over please. I can't see an anime to come that will be worse than this one. I bet they'll make a season 2... I will not be watching it.

Omamori Himari 04-09

Tis been a while but I didn't forget about this one even though no one else seems to be watching it either. It is just another generic fanservice filled anime after all. The "plot" isn't all that deep and it's kinda boring. Why must someone always have a lack of memory about their past? Or if they have this issue why not give a good reason for it. Himari wishes to change this by bringing Yuto back to where he grew up. She needs him to see his real roll in the Amakawa Family and slay the demons instead of becoming their friends.

Episode 5 not much happens but some fanservice.

Another demon slayer appears, Kuesu Jinguji from England. She also turns out of be a sudden fiancée. Surprise surprise... She invites Yuto to come to her hotel room when he is willing to join her side.

A battle between Kuesu and Himari takes place. After almost being totally defeated by Kuesu, Himari sees just how scary she may become if she looses her way. She is after all the very thing she wishes to kill. A demon cat.

Well those were some powerful attacks! After her "clear" loss Himari stumbles back to Yuto's room all beaten up.

Because of her injuries from her battle with Kuesu, Himari takes a pill that will turn her "wild" in order to make her better. This of course means her full on cat form will come out and of course Yuto must be the ever so strong master willing to endure and help her see this through.

Yuto finally goes to the hotel where Kuesu is staying to tell her what he has decided. An odd moment goes by as he explains where he stands. It felt very Eva or ef - a tale of memories like in how it was presented.

Kuesu starts to flip out during this explanation and tries to kill Yuto with a knife. His inner power comes out and saves him flinging Kuesu back crashing into a window and starts to fall from the skyscraper.

While he watches this from his failed attempt to save her from falling memories come flashing back to him where it was her in fact that grew up with him sharing that kiss. He remembers that it was he that said it would be fun to fight demons together and that he'll always protect her.

Episode 9 starts off oddly at school. It's time to draw pictures. Himari starts taking pictures with her cell phone which doesn't quite meet the standards. But this picture of her is very pretty. Wallpaper pretty one might say.

While she and Yuto are off doing that some other classmates get their loli needs in with drawing ___ in a fountain soaking wet!

Demon vampire sucks some of Yuto's blood uh oh! Afterwards a rumor starts to go around about a cannibal demon whom eventually shows up and attacks Himari because everyone thought she was after Yuto instead! Don't they know what cannibal means!

I wonder if an elf girl will show up next.

Ladies versus Butlers! 05 – 06

Wow that was a terrible first speech... all that giggling hurt my head and I wanted to punch her through the screen. The schemer Tomomi and croissant hair were tied when they first entered the school but it seems that Tomomi is ahead now and this drives croissant hair bonkers. It takes her everything to stay polite for the most part when it's clear that she is totally pissed off. Competing to be best at everything and anything is silly I find. Croissant hair jealous over grades where Tomomi is jealous over looks. Everyone is different... I don't understand why people always have to get pissed over that...

Clumsy maid girl is the sister of the girl that frequently ends up stripping for no reason... Coincidence? I think not.

They get stuck in the hot spring room (because the school is having water issues). Why is thee a hot spring room to begin with that is "hardly" ever used??? Silliness and fanservice commence!

Servants will crossdress to act as escorts for the ladies. The maids of course will  dress as males while the butlers have to dress as females or as something they will find out later... Why I'm not sure... The truth about Daichi is finally reveled that he is in fact a she. She is definitely not pleased that she must dress as a girl. They go on to study a little more. Food preparation and then onto wrestling. You need to be strong enough to fight off a possible attacker of your master after all. Finally they bring the girls more dresses for their ball where more silly situations occur.

This is the episode for Daichi to really start to annoy me. If you are going to "pretend" you are something you are not don't act like a giant douche bag to everyone around you because you have to do something that will possibly blow your cover. You choose to act this way. Suck it up. This "small" boob complex I will NEVER understand either. Especially since it's not being noticed by the dumb Akiharu.

Despite the annoyances the show still manages to make me laugh.

Chu-Bra 05-06

Weird brother sister action going on. I know they are close because of the death of their parents and that their weird grandma taught them to love the same things... But still it's just weird. Even the wetting of the bed after the parents died is a little weird. But then again she's a kid and I suppose these things happen. Growing up without parents can be tough for a lot of kids especially at that age.

Mizuno knows Hayama's brother from when they went to school together. She of course has a huge crush on him.

Komachi decides to visit Hayama at home to tell her that he wants to help her get the panty club going at school because he feels bad that (for some reason) he was responsible for it getting shut down to begin with. (even though he wasn't to blame). At this point Komachi is just punishing himself to be around things "womanly" that he wants nothing to do with.

The girls start thinking about falling in love, in the bathtub of course... Hayama has never felt this feeling before and for some reason it makes her sad. Oddly it makes Shiraishi Haruka very happy that she hasn't felt love before. Might she possibly be a lesbian?

Enter bitchy girl Amahara Kiyono, who wants to learn about what "real" woman pantsu are like. Meaning lingerie. Sexy panties that make men's head spin. She is in it for the feminess of panties instead of comfort. She gets into an agrument with Hayama saying that appeal to others over functionality is the best way for panties and bras to be.

We randomly had a school inspection to make sure kids are wearing the right length skirts, no makeup, no hair dye, etc. I find this odd because we never did that at our school. But I suppose in the Japanese schools it's quite normal. We never had those medical exams in school either. Then again this might just be an anime thing as well. I'll be doing some research on this for sure.

It's time to learn how to make a bra with all the different parts!

Despite the awkward moments this anime seems to give me, it's a rather cute tale about growing up as a girl with "odd" interests and being looked at like you are the weird one of the flock. I still am not overly enjoying the show but at least it makes me nervously laugh sometimes.

Ladies versus Butlers! – 03 – 04

An interesting partner card is needed in order to take the servant-ed exams for students. This card must be freely given and Tomomi gave hers to Akiharu right away but croissant hair wanted to give him hers as well. Somehow this was all according to Tomo's plans... This girl is a weird one.

Once they get into the exam the teacher tells them that the servant must do whatever their partner says. Simple enough. But the ever scheming Tomo has something up her sleve like always. She orders Akiharu to keep Ousawa Mimina, a very amazing artist that goes to their school, company for the whole day.

Surprisingly this episode didn't have nearly as much fanservice in it as I though it would from pictures I had seen prior to watching the episode. Because of those pictures (see below) I actually put off watching this for a while. In fact those pictures were the only part of fanservice for this episode and it was only 3 still shots of croissant hair's weird wild imagination.

This episode mostly just revolved around listening to Mimina whine about how people only care about her hands because of how valuable they are to her art. Oh and they chased a cat around a lot because that is what she REALLY wanted to draw.

P.S forgot about the loli look alike shower scene... That was SO not needed haha

Episode 4 brings us yet another new character. Enter our dark skinned beauty, Ayse Khadim and her super obnoxious caretaker/bodyguard, Hedyeh. What the last episode lacked in fanservice this one picks up the slack greatly.

Akiharu of course gets full on into trouble with this girl by accidentally walking in on her while she is changing... In a classroom... Thus he gets to see an eye full of skin and luxury undergarments. I gotta say I liked those pantsu and bra combo myself . According to her strict family traditions he now has to marry her because no man may see the skin of a lady unless they are to unite.

Of course this leads to all kinds of interesting positions err I mean situations with her now because she is determined to become his bride. Again Tomo schemes away under pretend caring about the reputation of the school and gets croissant hair all riled up. Oddly enough in the end Khadim just gives up and wishes to wait for the day that he'll love her or something. O.o Not before trying to violate him in the infirmary of course.

This show is pure silly. I can't take it seriously and really, no one should. It's suppose to make you laugh and facepalm at the situations that arise for our odd main man. The animation is really pretty for the most part as well. Really enjoying that part of the show.

Chu-Bra 03-04

Hayama's internal radar for tracking people's pantsu down is really weird. Just thought I'd start off by saying that. This episode featured a lot more of Komachi, but that didn't make the show any less awkward to watch. For such a carefree show it certainly has a lot and I mean a LOT of information about pantsu and bra proper fitting. Almost too much in fact. I personally felt a little weird while watching this with my boyfriend sitting next to me.

So while the first half of the show focused on Komachi trying to tell Hayama that he would not loose again to her, the second half focused on the girls trying to decide on which club to join. So they tried the crafts club, but their weird ideas about making underwear creped out not only the teacher (whom is a giant bitch) but the students in that club as well. They shouted that it would be embarrassing because boys would be around. To see their work because they have a huge show once a year with all their creations. Sad about these reactions, Hayama runs away from them for making her feel bad about her idea. After that encounter one of her friends suggests that they should form their own club. A underwear club.

Hayama Nayu goes to ask the teachers if she could start her own club. She is told she needs 9 other members to join in order for it to be allowed. The art teacher is very against this idea of hers of course and always makes her feel bad for wanting to do it. The new busty teacher is interested in this girls idea and will likely become the supervisor of the club when members are gathered.

Oh and I gotta say here that the animals running around randomly in each episode is rather weird. I'm not sure what their purpose is in the show other that filling a little bit of time.

Episode 2 brings us to full on promotion of this pantsu club. First they start at Hayama's home with planning. Weird awkward planning. They are going to have an intro fitting explaining meeting to get people interested in the club... ok... That idea is oddly thanks to Komachi. (he's not at this meeting XD)

Oh and I can't forget how the episode actually started off with Shiraishi Haruka, whom has GIANT big boobs at I assume the same age as the lead (12).... All the boys are making fun of her because of her huge mammaries, or they end up fawning over her. This of course makes her feel super insecure. But that's ok, Jinguuji Yako's small boobs make her feel the same way. I'll never understand why girls care how big their boobs are. Attention wanting?

The big boobed teacher is a target of Hayama's random groping for this episode. Which is weird because she does it in front of Komachi who actually wants nothing to do with this.

In the end a lot of girls showed up to this intro meeting. They had a lot of questions for Hayama which made her super happy. The only downfall was that there were some peeping toms that ended up chasing everyone away. Of course the bitchy teacher gets involved at this point and shoots Hayama's idea down for trying to start this club of hers up even more. Calling them attention seeking of boys and so on. Depressed the girls go to a... underwear shop? O.o Here Hayama once again proves her pantsu intelligence with answering questions about weird undergarments until the girls spot a pair that Hayama has never seen before. They are of course are...

End episode lol. I can only imagine what weirdness the next episode will hold.

Ookami Kakushi, Dance In The Vampire Bund, & Omamori Himari – 02 & 03

Ookami Kakushi

Episode 2 nothing happened... like nothing. Well some stuff happened at the VERY end for like 2 minutes but it was more like a teaser trailer. I wish they'd get on with it because I'm starting to get super annoyed with the characters. There isn't one I like and I hope they all get killed by that scythe lady that hops around in the night. *grumbles* Hiroshi acts and looks like a girl too.

Episode 3 they went on a picnic... Throw in some fanservice moments and that's all that happened in the first half.

Some super creepy parts by the really annoy blond chicks brother, Issei happened in the second part. He's weird and I want to find out more. Hiroshi got a fever from splashing around during the picnic and needed to go to the hospital for some medicine so Issei took him. They had a very interesting car ride back home.

The episode ends with Issei smelling a shirt that Hiroshi was wearing as he waves to the kids going off to school together. LOL

So far there's not much to say about this show. It's slow but catchy somehow. I do hate all the characters but at least the odd moments with Issei make me laugh. I like weird sexual situations. XD I think that the oranges are showing some sort of foreshadowing... but I could be totally wrong about that. The pills make me wonder too. Dance In The Vampire Bund

Episode 2 Vampires have never interested me and this anime isn't drawing me in with that. I don't overly enjoy the fanservice in it either. Was there really a point to that special oil that needed to be rubbed on Mina scene? I don't think so. I do like the male lead though, Akira. He's always questioning and has a hidden past that he can't rememeber. Sure that's a little cliche with the memory loss and all but he does find out that he is a werewolf part of the Earth clan, which is awesome.

Episode 3 picks up right where the last left off... they are in bed O.o and of course she goes to his school now... The rest of the students are not very happy about that. Turns out she is the Chairman of the school and declares Akira her servant. The student council President hates that Mina is at the school now and puts out a warrant for Akira's capture. In the end he wasn't caught and went back to Mina's place. During the night something terrible happened to the student council President that Mina was clearly aware of.

 

 

 

 

Omamori Himari

Episode 2 beach episode starting off with going shopping for swimsuits. At least the ED is cute... Shizuku failed to kill the "demon slayer" which made her demon buddies angry at her and want to replace her if she can't finish the job. uh oh!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Episode 3 after some bath play they go to work in a cafe for the rest of the episode. The fanservice continues.
